Venue information
All you need to know about the Anhembi Convention Centre

Anhembi Convention Centre, Av. Olavo Fontoura, 1209 - Santana, São Paulo, 02012-021

In 2025, PRI in Person will take place in São Paulo, Brazil’s largest city and a thriving financial hub in Latin America. As a center of economic innovation and social diversity, São Paulo is a natural home for discussions on responsible investment.

Our conference venue, the recently renovated Distrito Anhembi, will provide the perfect setting for PRI in Person 2025. Originally opened in 1970 with the vision of becoming Latin America’s largest event center, it was designed as an integrated complex featuring an exhibition pavilion, a convention palace, and an international hotel.

This redevelopment marks a historic opportunity for São Paulo to reinforce its status as a premier global destination for conferences, trade shows, and entertainment.

Travel
Plan your route to join us in São Paulo

Taxi - Distrito Anhembi is conveniently located just a 30–40 minute drive from São Paulo Guarulhos International Airport (GRU). While we typically encourage public transport, the nearest metro station is over 1.5 km away. For a smoother journey, we recommend taking a taxi when traveling to and from the conference venue.

Bicycle - The Olavo Fontoura avenue has a bike lane throughout its length, passing in front of the Anhembi District and connecting the existing bike lanes on Bráz Leme, Santos Dumont and Cruzeiro do Sul avenues, – the latter also allows modal transport integration with the Portuguesa-Tietê subway station.

Sustainability
Our approach to managing the social and environmental impact of the event

Our annual flagship event is run to foster positive change for the responsible investment community – both locally and globally – and this ethos is carried through to our operational approach in how we run the event. Impact on the environment, local community and supply chains are all considered, and we work proactively across our operations towards leaving a positive legacy. We aim to ‘walk the talk’ by managing the social and environmental impact of the event in a way that’s consistent with the mission of the PRI, within local context.

Environmental Impact
In 2025, working in partnership with our conference venues and suppliers, we will take various measures to support the environmental sustainability of PRI in Person, including:
  • Minimising paper usage throughout the event.
  • Opting for recyclable materials wherever possible, as well as utilising lanyards made from recycled, sustainable materials.
  • Removal of product giveaways (e.g. water bottles, tote bags, pens) from our sponsorship suite.
  • Working with a waste management partner to deliver an event that sends zero waste to landfill.
  • As always at our events we will be working with local suppliers towards catering being sustainable and responsibly sourced, offering the most appropriate variety for our attendees, focussed on a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options. Within the cultural and economic context of Brazil, meat options will comprise a proportion of our overall catering, aiming for both locally sourced and organic.
  • The PRI has a Climate Change policy which is supported by a travel policy for PRI staff. This travel policy aims to mandate more sustainable travel options, including lower emissions associated with travel. We encourage delegates to consider the environmental impact of their travel and choose sustainable travel modes where possible.

Social Impact
Our approach to social sustainability is supported by organisational procurement, human rights, DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) and climate change policies.
  • Our criteria for selecting venues and suppliers includes review of their operations in line with relevant laws and guidelines, including but not limited to human rights, environmental, and employment.
  • We are committed to providing a platform for a diverse range of speakers across the RI ecosystem, representing the global composition of our signatory base.
  • We will not convene any all-male panels and will actively seek diversity among speakers at PRI in Person, including (but not limited to) gender identity, race/ethnicity, and persons with disabilities.
  • We have selected a fully accessible venue for PRI in Person and intend to support content accessibility through the use of simultaneous translation and captioning.
  • We are working with stakeholders through our 'Local Action Forum' to ensure the event is reflective and respectful of local context.
